Paloma Popsicles To Add To Your Summer To-Do List

Summer is on its way and momma is prepared. My signature drink, a Paloma cocktail, just got a face lift— and lets just say, it’s pretty fantastic. This boozy adult treat is perfect for those upcoming hot summer days. Refreshing and insanely easy to make. Just pop in the freezer.

Don’t worry, I didn’t forget about the little ones. Below is also a Raspberry Lemonade Popsicle recipe breakdown for kids to enjoy.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Silver Tequila (our favorite is Casamigos)

  • Grapefruit juice (we use Simply Grapefruit, but fresh is always better).

  • Lemonade Juice (we use Simply Lemonade), which you will mix with water so it is not too bitter.

  • Fresh Lime Juice (about 4 limes)

  • Handful of Raspberries

  • Optional (club soda)

WHAT TO DO:

Makes 8 popsicles – 4 Paloma Popsicles | 4 Raspberry Lemonade Popsicles

  • Once you have gathered all your materials, begin cutting all the fruit into little chunks.

    • Place fruit on a plate once finished separated by color.

  • Place the fruit chunks sporadically in popsicles molds.

    • One mold will have grapefruit and lime chunks (adult pops) while the second mold will have raspberries (kid pops).

  • Next, make the Paloma cocktail.

    • First, add 3-4 shots of tequila to a small pitcher (add/ subtract shots depending on your preference).

    • Add in grapefruit juice (about 2 cups).

    • Optional: Add in a 3/4 cup of club soda.

    • Squeeze a generous amount of limes into pitcher (the more limes the better).

    • Stir all contents together.

  • For Lemonade, place in a separate pitcher and mix in water to dilute bitterness.

  • Once the fruit is placed throughout popsicle mold, slip in popsicle sticks into the bottom end of each mold.

  • With a steady hand, pour Paloma pitcher in the first popsicle mold to about a little over 3/4 of the way. Then continue with the Lemonade pitcher into the popsicle mold with the raspberry chunks.

  • Once complete, take trays to freezer and lay flat.

  • Freeze for 5-7 hours before serving and then enjoy!
