Many people don’t know this but Molly is a huge bookworm. Not only is she constantly reading, but she almost always is reading murder mystery novels. She’s so obsessed with the genre that her husband jokes he’s afraid she’ll murder him in his sleep. We always turn to Molly for our next thriller, page tuner must-read.
We’ve round up her current favorites that you won’t want to put down.
The Better Sister is a gimmick-free murder mystery with a two-stage surprise ending. Most of the important women in the novel are women — a cop, defense attorney, and a judge. It’s a quick read but you’ll love every page of it.
If we’re being completely honest, The Breakdown is a major page turner however it’s extremely predictable. If you’re not trying to think too much while you’re reading, we’d give this book a go.
Okay, we have to say that Before We Were Strangers is the book we needed to believe in love again. It has all of the characteristics that we love to see in a contemporary romance. If you’re in the mood for a love story that isn’t cheesy, add this one to your Amazon cart.
We had to force ourselves to put this book down, it’s that good! Pieces of Her gives you enough intrigue to keep reading with an incredible narrative that makes you want more.
The Other Mrs. Parish is a psychological thriller with a murder mystery at its core. You might be able to figure out the main plot early on but Kubica gives enough curve balls that’ll make you second guess yourself repeatedly.
If you’re only going to read one book on this list, it has to be The Last Mrs. Parrish. Molly read this book in one sitting and tells everyone and their mother that it’s a must-read. The Last Mrs. Parrish is light on psychological suspense but it is a very sassy thriller that takes some surprising turns as the story progresses making it become an addictive read.
If you read The Last Mrs. Parish and loved it, then you need to read Constantine’s The Last Time I Saw You. It’s a tale of revenge, betrayal, mystery, and suspense with many possible outcomes. It all leads to a heart pounding ending that you did not see coming.
