Every season, Fashion Week is a spectacle that style watchers everywhere flock to — but oftentimes, the pieces can’t be shopped for several months. Then, once they do become available, they’re reserved for those willing to invest a huge chunk of their paycheck in the latest It-bag or must-have coat. Despite popular belief, you can actually steal the biggest trends of Fashion Week, and for a fraction of the price — it just takes knowing where to look.
To browse the new-and-now trends for Spring 2021, browse ahead:
Cut-outs first popped up last summer in the quarantine-approved knit dress trend. Now, they’re shaking up airy maxi dresses — appearing across the runways of Gabriela Hearst, Zimmermann, and Staud. The hup-hugging cutouts make for an extra-flattering look.

In easy spring colors that lend themselves to summer wear, crochet bags were all over the runways, memorably appearing at Bottega Veneta in purples, greens, and teals. Fendi also made use of the trend, with daintier styles with coin-purse closures. Still, it’s expected to make a chic comeback in all silhouettes — bucket bags, totes, and so on.

Traditional trouser silhouettes have softened in recent seasons (another side effect of the pandemic), and wide-leg versions are forecasted to take over with relaxed sandals this season. Try pairs in punchy, anything-but-black colorways to liven up your look.

Sporty sandals are one of the biggest Spring 2021 shoe trends, bringing any polished co-ord down to earth with their mellow feel. Stella McCartney and Tom Ford both put their spins on the trend. Invest in it now, and your feet will thank you later.

As evinced from the runways to Inauguration Day, trench coats are having a huge moment — especially when broken out in bold colors. Wear yours over a minidress or a skirt and blouse for a spring-ready look.
