The Glitz and Glam of Molly’s 50th Birthday in Morocco

When it comes to dressing the part (no matter the occasion), no one loves putting an outfit together more than our own Molly Sims.

Whether she’s strutting the red carpet or sitting sideline cheering on her kids at the sports field, she is sure to elevate any event she attends with her chic sense of style. So why would we expect anything less on vacation?

This year to celebrate Molly’s 50th birthday (and 50 fabulous years of outfits), she and her closest friends set off to Morocco to party desert style, and the outfits did not disappoint.

Night 1

Meet Me at The Bar: Welcome Party

First impressions are everything, especially on the first night of your vacation. For Molly’s first event of the week, the Welcome Party, she chose a vibrant Johanna Ortiz maxi dress paired with a python printed mule from chic New York brand Khaite.

Day 2

Marrakech Medina Tour

The Medina of Marrakech is one of Morocco’s oldest political, economic, and cultural centers to occupy Marrakech’s original city. 

For her tour of The Medina, Molly chose a long sleeve maxi dress to keep cool as they toured the Medina during the day. Molly’s pink La Double J dress featured black and yellow accents incorporated into the graphic print pattern and perfectly matched the Medina architecture’s details. 

Night 2

An Ode To YSL

I can only think of one thing more chic than a YSL-themed night, and that’s a YSL-themed night: 70’s edition. Picture: glamorous gowns, vintage accessories, and of course, plenty of Yves Saint Laurent. Shop similar items below.

Night 3

Desert Metallics

Nothing says birthday party in the desert like metallics! From shimmering accessories to sparkly dresses that caught the strobe lights across the desert, Molly and her guests lit up the night with their outfits.

Day 4

Club Molly: Pool Party

Poolside at Club Molly everyone was soaking up the Moroccan sun and getting their glow on. While the outfits may be too glamourous for water they looked spectacular on land. Shop similar outfits.
