Architecture

 
This morning I was driving to a meeting in downtown LA and as I was stuck in traffic I took a moment to look around me. The downtown LA skyline is so beautiful.

 

I love the valleys and peaks that are assembled from high buildings, church steeples and bridges. The way the light cascades off of heavily windowed buildings onto the streets below makes my heart happy.

 

I love seeing the vibrant energy that makes this city tick. Everyone is walking so fast. They all seem so purposeful and present. They whiz through other pedestrian traffic with a certain grace and finesse.

 

I’m not an expert on city planning or architecture by any means but I think it is safe to say that Los Angeles did a great job.
