The Beach Bunny

 
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the barometer rise to that ideal beach weather. Part of the summer fun is getting to enjoy this weather, take advantage of the outside and have endless discussions with your friends and family over a bottle of wine after a cookout. But, the other part of summer that always excites me is the inevitable appearance of summer style.

I love seeing girls care free in maxi dresses with their hair in a messy knot on top of their head. I love pedal pushers with oxfords and a floppy straw hat. I love wearing a bathing suit as a top and pairing it with a big chunky beaded necklace and I love throwing on a bulky cable knit sweater when the temperature drops down at night.

There is something exhilarating and special about being about to throw on a nice pair of Lanvin flats or t-strap sandals and rocking the perfect pedicure. I always feel empowered when I am walking on the beach, holding my husband’s hand and feeling so free in my flowing halter dress.

I am excited to introduce Brooks to the exciting world of summer fashion. I cannot wait to dress my little guy in a floppy hat, swim trunks and the perfect pair of baby flip-flops. Below are a few of my summer favs.
