Don’t let your New Year’s resolutions go!
Like it or not, fitness is key to health and happiness. You have to work for it, but nothing tastes as great as good health feels. I’m not one of those women who can eat what they want and still fit in their favorite pair of jeans. I have never been that girl. Speaking of jeans, don’t obsess over the scale. Never weigh yourself every morning. That can ruin your entire day and pull you off track from your goal. Use a pair of favorite jeans as your weight gauge.
Fitness keeps fat on the run!! That is literally the second sentence in my book, The Everyday Supermodel, because it couldn’t be truer!! You’ve got to get your body moving. Even if you are blessed with the perfect genes, you need fitness to help keep your head fit. A good workout will help clear the cobwebs and stress out of your mind. Be like Elsa and “Let it Go” while you getting your body into the best shape of your life. If not now, then when?
You have to make yourself and your health the priority. Nobody can do that for you. Work, school, commitments – life gets in the way and there is always an excuse. Believe me, I’ve made those same excuses but then I slip on those favorite jeans and when that button is a little hard to snap, it definitely snaps me to attention. Super busy schedule? Dissect your day figure out how to fit your workout in there. Let fitness become your “me” time.
You have to make your workout as fun as you possibly can. For me that means varying what I do to keep fit so I don’t get bored. The most important thing is to make sure you sweat. Think of sweating as turning up the volume of your workout.
I’ve shared with you previously why it is so important to sweat but now I’m going to give you a few tips taken directly from my book on how to make your workout space into a sweat-cuzzi!
