A Chic & Cozy Backyard Celebration For Everyday Chic

To officially celebrate the launch of my book, I teamed up with a few of my favorite women who define what it means to entertain in style: Stefanie Cove, Simone LeBlanc, and Goop. Can we get a chic-er trifecta? I don’t think so. The night was a way to make the book come to life and celebrating the importance of a great community of women (aka my tribe!) Without the women who attended, I wouldn’t be who I am today.

Our main goal for the night was to highlight the effortless elegance that embodies Everyday Chic–from the color palette to the signature cocktail. Like I always say, it’s all about a theme.

Since we threw the event in my backyard, it only made sense to bring that warmth from the inside of the home, outside. Glowing string lights gave a cozy ambience among the golds, bright pinks, rich burgundies, and fall berries of the floral tablescapes from Kimm Birkict of The Velvet Garden.

To keep with the cozy theme, we included a mix of low and high cocktail tables from the Theoni Collection complete with shearling fur on the seats to give guests the option of mingling or sitting in a more intimate setting.

 

Simone LeBlanc, chic gifting extraordinaire, let guests play with a variety of beautiful florals and materials to create their own personalized floral. arrangement.

For the event, Simone curated Everyday Chic gift box for every guest to take home. Each box included a bottle of Casamigos, products from Benefit Cosmetics, a candle from the new collection at Goop, and handmade leather coasters from Simone.

I love the look of small bites at a party, whether they are passed on trays or serve yourself. DJ Prager of The Clean Palette created a beautiful charcuterie board, veggie spread and signature tartines and snacks inspired by the book. Even my turkey pesto meatballs!

Desserts included pressed flower shortbread cookies and bars along with decorative chocolate cupcakes from chef and cake designer, Lori Stern.

For cocktails, we kept with the theme and created some cocktails specific for the night with the help of Casamigos Tequila. I’m telling you–the “Everyday Chic” is everything.

Since no celebration would be complete without a photo booth, we created a cozy backdrop with a wood accent wall and Everyday Chic signage with greenery.

All in all, it came together perfectly. Another huge thank you to Stefanie Cove, Simone LeBlanc, Goop, and all the other experts that made Everyday Chic come alive. Also the support of my family, Tribe of 5, and team along this journey. My momma even came all the way from Kentucky!
