Can you guys believe that it’s already the first Friday of the month?! Now that we’re past Halloween, it’s time to get into the real craziness of Thanksgiving and Christmas. I just can’t even fathom Christmas shopping and New Years planning. But, let’s take it one step at a time. I’m sharing some of my favorite products that help me stay sane, organized, and feeling like a Supermomma.
Just like I stated in my First Friday Finds from October, none of these products are sponsored and I’m truly obsessed with these goodies.
A hair bow —My most recent YouTube video gave you guys a tutorial to my favorite fall hair trend, the black bow. It instantly adds some chicness to any average hairstyle. I wore it to a luncheon for How You Glow and Mamas and Tatas last week and I can’t even tell you how many compliments I received.
Dr. Dennis Gross’ Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel —Since I’ve been traveling nonstop since my book, Everyday Chic came out, I needed something that would salvage my skin. Dr. Dennis Gross’ daily peels have given me a facial in just two minutes…and we all need that two minutes.
Hello Toothpaste —I recently became familiar with this brand and let me tell you … I’m obsessed. As a momma who is always searching for the newest and healthiest products for her superkiddos, this one just works. It has no dyes, no parabens, no artificial sweeteners, no triclosan and no microbeads. My kiddos have been using their fluoride free watermelon flavor and they love it. When your kids like the flavor of their toothpaste, it makes brushing (and bedtime) a whole lot easier. They also have toothpastes for us parents who don’t want to put chemicals in our bodies.
Drybar’s Triple Sec 3-In-1 — You guys, if I can use any product for the rest of my life, this is it. My hair can be pretty flat at times (and dirty because… I’m a mom) and it really adds texture to my hair while working as a dry shampoo. You’ll thank me later.
Meri Meri Thanksgiving decorations — My number one rule is organization. Even though we’re about 20 days away from Thanksgiving, I’m already thinking about it. Like I said in October, I’m obsessed with Meri Meri’s decorations. I found these Thankful Turkey place cards where your kids can write what they’re thankful for. It’s a great way to get them involved in the holiday and really think about everything they have in their life.
Red Knit Wool-Blend Sweater From H&M —This season it’s all about RED. Red shoes, red hats, red sweaters, red everything. I love a big turtleneck and wide sleeves for fall. This sweater is perfect for those chilly mornings with jeans or leggings and a casual tennis shoe.
Yumi baby food– I’ve started to use Yumi baby food meal plan for baby Grey. I kid you not mommas—this meal plan will save your life and keep your baby healthy. You can choose a plan that works best for you and your lifestyle. The products have all of the nutrients and flavors that your little ones need, Grey can’t get enough of them. The best part is that they donate all of the unused perishable food to Impact LA. I love a product with a cause.
The Mommy Shorts Guide to Remarkably Average Parenting —I’ve been reading this book religiously because it’s so damn funny! It gives an insight to what really goes on inside a home with kids and its just spot on. I’ve caught myself dying of laughter. I even have a group chat going back and forth with my friends with photos from the book. However, if you want solid parenting advice, this book isn’t for you. It’s for the mommas who need to laugh about how ridiculous parenting may be sometimes.
Cuyana’s Work Satchel —I saw one of my friends with this bag from Cuyana and I instantly became obsessed. It is the ultimate work or travel bag with a laptop sleeve, zipper pocket and adjustable cross body strap.
Dirty Lemon – Someone sent me a few samples of these waters and I’m officially addicted. They’re the perfect detox drinks for those who hate “detoxing.” The raw detox is made with reverse osmosis filter water, dandelion root, organic ginger root, non-GMO lemons and pharmaceutical-grade activated charcoal. You can drink these as an actual detox but I honestly like to drink the lemon one in the morning and then the matcha one in the middle of the day to give me a burst of energy. It’ll make your mind clearer and your body a little bit lighter. 😉
I really hope you guys are enjoying my monthly lists of what I’m currently into. Please leave me a comment below so I know that you’re into it. Also, let me know what I need to include in my December obsessions!
