One of the secrets to a healthy marriage: being able to agree on what to watch on TV. All joking aside, I think we could agree that men and women can be very different when it comes to their show preferences.
Personally, I believe television shows that contain both a compelling storyline and major plot twists are the middle ground between the opposing sides.
Below I listed out some of the most talked-about shows on TV at the moment. Everything from on the edge of your seat thrillers to dark and witty comedies. In the end, both partners will be satisfied and you will never have to sit through a sports documentary again, (or at least for a while).
Defending Jacob
An excellent thriller based off an American crime drama novel. The plot surrounds a murder of a teen with the prosecutors’ son (Jaeden Martell) as the main suspect.

When a wealthy couple suddenly find themselves completely broke. Along with their two spoiled adult children not making it any easier. In this witty comedy, the family must come together to survive.

A reality television show (and I rarely watch reality tv) that tests sexy singles on their self-control. A game type dating show that restricts these singles from any physical touch. With so much temptation, it becomes addicting to watch how they try to control themselves.

Don’t F**k With Cats: Hunting An Internet Killer
A three part series that will blow your mind. An intense thriller from beginning to end. A true story of an internet killer who was chased down by the wits of good samaritans. I highly recommend this show!

Curb Your Enthusiasm
`Seinfeld’ co-creator Larry David plays a version of himself on this scripted series. A 30-minute show watching Larry David handle lifes’ annoyances in the most outlandish way possible.

If you haven’t seen Ozark already, you are definitely missing out. Marty (played by Jason Bateman) shows us how many things can go wrong when you start working for a drug lord. No one is safe, including his family.
