“I started the blog for all the wrong reasons. I started it for a boy. He broke my heart and I wanted to look really good on the internet—and for him to see it and want me back. That didn’t happen but I fell in love with blogging, interacting with women all over the world, and finding great pieces at affordable prices and showing styling tips. That role opened up so many opportunities with brands which showed me the business side of my career.”
“It’s about having all your basics: your t-shirt, button down, a great pair of jeans, a cardigan, tank tops, a really chic trouser. But then that fashion piece. That’s really what I tried to do with Something Navy. I’m a big accessories girl. I’m good with a t-shirt and jeans and then having a really cool statement shoe or earring.
In New York, it’s definitely about having a really good coat.”
“I never leave home without my Soleil Toujours—I love their sunscreen. I never get burnt with it and always have a nice tan. Bathing suits: I love Eres, Matteau, and Adriana Degreas which I just bought for a trip. White Superga sneakers are a great price point, they last forever, and never go out of style for me”
