Before we get into the inspiring events that took place while in Africa, we got the inside scoop on everything they packed for their trip.
What makes a 24 hour+ travel day more exciting? Matching outfits with your travel companion of course! Molly and Scar opted for comfy, yet chic neutral sets to get them through the long hours of plane travel and layovers.
For their first day in Tanzania both gals opted for the timeless sundress and sandals duo. When you’re traveling to a warm or tropical environment, dresses are an absolute MUST. They take up little space in the suitcase, and leave you feeling effortlessly elegant and put together. Molly’s go to brands for summer dresses are Love the Label, Ulla Johnson, Farm Rio, and Doen.
Another day, another chic neutral dress! For their second day in Tanzania, Molly wore a pale pink shirtdress – the perfect dress style to make you feel instantly put together, while still casual enough for a stroll around the city. Also the ideal outfit for a day of travel in hot weather.
Another travel day means another day of comfy neutrals. Molly’s travel out fit tip: layer, layer, layer! Molly says “layering is key when traveling since the airport and plane temps are constantly changing.”
For her first day in Mwanza, Molly opted for some classic white straight leg jeans, and a lightweight floral blouse. This fit is comfortable, put together, and perfect for a day full of activity.
It’s giving safari chic in the best possible way! When going on a safari, Molly’s number one tip is focus on comfort and use the environment as a color palette. Molly and Scar opted for neutral, hunter green, beige and grey outfits. Their outfits are proof that style does not have to be compromised when prioritizing comfort. Investing in well fitted basics is key to obtaining a fashionable, yet comfortable look.
