We did something a little different this week. We thought we’d just catch up. There’s really nothing more to it. Molly and Emese dish out all the latest happenings in both their lives. They recap Halloween and how fast the kids are growing up. They get into their latest shopping purchases, plans for Thanksgiving, and some early New Year’s resolutions. By the way, if you haven’t already checked out and subscribed to Emese’s just launched Substack, make sure you do so ASAP. It’s excellent, if we do say so ourselves. We hope this provides your week with a little ease, a little levity. That’s what we’re here for, after all.
“The rose of this year was that we had a very healthy year. The kids are good, and Stuber is good. I guess I don’t have a thorn per se, other than I’m a little overwhelmed. For three years, I worked so hard on setting up all the things that came to fruition at the same time this year. YSE is incredible, I have to say. It’s more work than I ever thought possible, it’s stressful. We sold out of the Ex-Pads and you’d think it’s a good thing, but when you’re actually in it, it’s really stressful. We’re back in stock now. But, it’s just like putting out little fires every day. So, it’s, onward and upwards.”
“What I really want to do honestly is be more present in the moment. I think that I lost a lot of time and spent a lot of time worrying. I don’t know if I took proper care of myself, the way I needed to mentally. So in 2024, I want to be more present and live more in the moment. And I want to enjoy my kids more. We’re great moms, but I think sometimes I need to remind myself that the phone calls and messages on my phone can wait. I find myself guilty of having my phone on me too often, and in the hours the kids aren’t at school or sports, I want to have more special time with them.”
