Beauty...
When the new school year comes around, I love to get my kiddos new essentials. They each love their own items but then have a lot of the same favorites. So, I did some shopping and research and picked out what Scar and Brooks are currently loving for back-to-school.
READ MORE >People are constantly asking me "how do you get it all done?" especially when it comes to feeding my family. I feel like that's the number one struggle most working moms have. I've shared my meal prep strategy but if I'm going to be real with you guys, there are some weeks where I don't have time to go to the store and cool for the entire week. That's where my friend, Blue Apron comes into play.
READ MORE >I recently connected with Virginie from Crave and Cook and let me tell you... this woman has changed the way I cook for my family. I thought that I had my meal prep plan down, but she has helped me create meals on a whim that can feed the entire family in under 30 minutes.

In fact, the train tracks and train that Grandpa Ray gave Brooks were pretty much permanently on the coffee table. Today, we're taking you inside the most fun room in the house: the playroom.
READ MORE >Parenting is, hands down, the toughest job in the world. Both Scott and I know that being an engaged parent is no small task and that there is no one right way to do it. But after three kids (and making many mistakes and learning along the way), we have discovered a few things that work for our family, most of the time. These are by no means the last word on parenting; the fact is, parenting is such an individualized thing that what works for one family will not necessarily work for another. Even so, I wanted to share a few ideas with you in hopes that what helped us might help your family too.
READ MORE >Yesterday I shared a video on my reflections from Grey's first year and today I'm excited to share how we got to celebrate it! You guys know how much I love a theme so we decided to go with Camp Stuber for baby Grey's first birthday! Why Camp Stuber? Well, it's honestly just what we call our home whenever we have play dates or other kids over. We feel like a camp most of the times. READ MORE >I live and breathe by our family calendar. Without it, I am nothing. I would never remember Brooks’s soccer practice, Scarlett’s playdates, my meetings, or Scott’s travel. I would go supermomma batsh*t crazy without it. It’s not that I want to be rigid. It’s the opposite actually. With the schedule written out and accessible to Scott and myself and our child- care providers, we can relax because it provides clarity and order.
READ MORE >Documenting the everyday and special occasions is so much easier in the modern age. We’ve got high-quality camera phones and even video cameras wherever we go. With ease, we can record and play back our lives. However, I do still love the tradition of setting up more formal photos for special occasions, such as the holidays, summer vacation, big family gatherings, and the annual family photo or during a pregnancy and after the birth of a new baby. The photos can be candid or more formal, but the point is, they are precisely captured. It’s so touching to look back on these years and these events and have a collection of images that tell our family story.
