Beauty...
We’re living in a time where it’s hard to express how we’re feeling. As I sit here and write this, I feel that nothing I could say could possibly be enough. I am left speechless and heartbroken.
Instead of trying to say the right thing, I am here to listen and educate myself, my family and my community on how to stand for solidarity in equality. It’s not enough to say nothing, saying nothing will not teach our children to stand up for what is right. I’m sharing resources that you can educate yourself and help others doing this time. I encourage you to donate, watch, listen and read to take one step forward. Actually, let’s take a leap.

So many people across social media have been sharing ways to discover and support small businesses, specifically black-owned businesses. We need to be more mindful where we put our money, myself included! If you want to highlight a business, please drop their Instagram in the comments section below.
Food writer, Kat Hong shared a Google Doc spreadsheet full of black-owned restaurants located across L.A. The list is continuously growing with the help of comments, DMs and contributions from others. Click here to view the spreadsheet! This is a quick way to immediately make a difference and show your support.
I hope this post encourages you at all in any way, shape or form. Please share this on your social platforms to get the word out. If you have any contributions for me to add to this list, please share them below and I’ll be sure to add them.
xx
